This room is long and skinny with no windows and bright lights. Posters, wall hangings, ect will be mostly royal blue and some yellow (company colors). Want it to look professional and classy! What colors should be used and should all 4 walls be painted or just a couple? What color to paint a small, narrow, rectangular office space with no windows?
I would paint the walls something cool like a lighter blue, rather than warm since it's so small.
I would paint 2 of the walls the same shade and the other 2 another shade, in the same family.
Or light blue on 2 walls and a very pale yellow on the other 2.
Find a color wheel online or at an art/crafts store to help. What color to paint a small, narrow, rectangular office space with no windows?
WHITE
The singe most important thing is that you do not choose a dark color. Your room is small, and it is of utmost importance that you choose a light color to keep the space feeling large.
You may want to paint a single wall a color that is a bit darker than the other walls. As a general rule, you paint the wall that you want to recede into space. You may want to paint the room a white with a touch of yellow in it. If you choose to paint one wall another color, pick a darker yellow. I like this effect alot.
Last, try and hang a mirror one one of the walls, it will make the room seem larger by expanding the open space of the room into the mirror.
i like green best. but since the company colors are blue and yellow... light blue would be best, but since it's royal blue, you could try that. but it will probably end up looking smaller and dreary. yellow might be nice, however.
The best site to figure this out on is www.behr.com you can go through and blend all their colors online, also it tells you what colors look good with what others, and then even paint imaginary rooms with your colors to see how it will look. I think a blue is best.
Behr will even send you a lil sample of your color paint..have fun on that site..because Im color challenged I use it for outfits and things..HOPE I HELPED! later
