What color should I paint my walls?

We had dark paneling in our living room and put up drywall. We have blue carpet and blue couches. I would like to know what color would look the best on the walls. Please do not say white because I have four boys and it would get to dirty. Thanks in advance for your help. What color should I paint my walls?
The issue isn't so much what color, but what FINISH. If you have 4 boys, you need to use a paint with a super sturdy, washable finish, like semi-gloss. You might be concerned that there won't be much shine difference from the walls to the trim. Even if your trim (door, baseboards, etc) are painted in semi-gloss, the trim will still look shinier due to the smooth surface in comparason to a textured wall.

VERY important also, since you have new drywall. Make sure your drywall is completely sealed before you paint. Raw drywall is very porous and will soak up paint like a sponge...you will end up with a blotchy paint job (I'm talking about the sheen AND color). You can get drywall sealer fairly cheap, like 10 bucks a gallon...Since the only job of a drywall sealer is to seal, there is very little pigment, which results in the lower cost. As far as the color, if you are really unsure, take a pillow from the couch and a piece of carpet to your local paint store and get someone to help pick out a color. What color should I paint my walls?
I think you should def go with a beige or brown color. That would balance out the blue carpet and furniture in your space. If you wanted a pop of color, do so with accent pieces (rugs, curtains, lamps, etc.)

And, as other mentioned previously, think about what kind of finish you want so it can be cleaned up easily.
i wish is violet or rose colour

Browns and beiges look really nice with blues....that's if you're going for the neutral look.

If you want something to pop, I think reds always look nice with blue...

Oh and try not to go w/ flat paint...that way you can wipe and clean your walls when the kids dirty it.
I would say a light blue to complement your furniture and carpet. or try light green or even a light purple would look great. Try a small sample close to the couch to see how it looks against the furniture.
light color is preferable
Umm a brown or a tan maybe a light blue...My dad paints for a living and thats what he think's
pale green
