What color should i paint my kitchen with greyish blue countertops?

I'm getting my counters redone and im having a hard time picking out the paint color for the walls. The granite is like a bluish greyish color. It can be seen here it's called platinum blue from home depot http://www.stonemark.com/Platinum-Blue.aspx

also, i have white creamish tile with a little blue in it, what grout color do you recommend. What color should i paint my kitchen with greyish blue countertops?
You need to stick to cool colors because the granite is a cool color.

For the grout, use white so it will blend into the tiles. Ask them to match the white to the tiles.

For the walls DO NOT PAINT THE WALLS ORANGE or any other warm color. It will class terribly with your granite. Look at cool colors. Examples (all from Behr):

Grey Timber Wolf

Grand Rapids

Viking

I think that there are three options that would look really good:

1. You could go with a light color that is present in the tiles and the counters and everything, which in your case would be blue. Since both the tiles and the granite aren't completely blue, a nice light blue color on the walls would bring out the blue in them without being too much or too theme-y. Since the kitchen is one of the main family rooms and has a lot of other colors in it, you don't want to go with something too strong. A light blue or greenish-blue color would be light and bright, and will make a smaller kitchen look bigger (pick a really light shade, but not too white so you can still see the color).

2. Another thing you could do is to pick the opposite, and go with a color that contrasts with the hues in your counters and tiles. In your case, a brownish or orange color would look very warm and inviting. You could go for a more ';brown'; shade or for a shade that has more orange in it, but make sure to not go too dark. This color would look especially pretty if you add in some blue or green kitchen accessories, like bright blue plant pots or light green curtains (if there's a window).

3. And of course, you could also go for a classic white. Just because your walls are white doesn't mean they have to be boring. White looks very good in kitchens that have many colorful pots and plates everywhere. Don't forget you can also accessorize with patterned curtains and bright towels, and this color is good with any color combination.

It's kind of long, but hopefully useful. Good luck!
maybe a light graham cracker color or a lighter version of the countertop's tone. i wouldn't mind a blue kitchen, it might even make a kitchen seem less hot especially in the summer
I think just plain crisp white would look great with your blue gray countertop, it will make your kitchen look open and really fresh yet modern ;)
teal or off-white depending on how long you are planning on living there you could go a little off the map with a good light green
