What color should i paint my boring room?

My mom finally said yes! she said i can paint my room. but iam stuck which color should i paint it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What color should i paint my boring room?

How about a cheerful color like a warm pink and, on one wall, maybe she will allow you to put up some wallpaper with foil and texture pattern on it...in same color scheme...THEN you could have all your pillows and accessories to match and accentuate/compliment the decor--all around that central color scheme...such as a gold base hanging small chandelier type lamp with those cute little fake diamonds dangling, nice brocade pillows and bolsters, maybe a curtain to match all that,,,nice throw rug, table cloth, lamp etc....and have your lights with the dimmer switch so you can make your room as bright or as dim as you like...to set the 'mood'. Maybe Mom will allow you to have a tall potted fern in your room if enough light comes in and you promise to water it.

I remember my Mom let me also paint my room when I was a little girl and I chose mauve..it was also very nice and my bed spread was gorgeous chiffon with giant pansy flowers...I loved it. Now--many years later I am a Mom and hold this as a fond wonderful memory^^

Start with your favorite color as a background. Then choose something you love -a dog, stiletto heels, what ever comes to mind. Then paint it on your walls, over and over, in several colors. Do great drapes on your window, longer than the window, maybe all the way to the floor. If you love ballet, use tule (the fabric a tutu is made from) under the drapes. use all sorts of favorites to decorate your walls, shelves and closet doors. Make it fun. Raise your bed up on a platform to give it drama.
first pick a theme for your room. like my friend, for instance, has a black and white themed room. she painted her walls white and the door frame and stuff like that black. pick a theme to redo your room with and then take that theme and get a color from it. or find bedding you like and pick a color out of that. or find a design you think is cool and paint it on your wall. or one wall if it is crazy and then paint the rest one of the colors. or go to the store and find four pretty colors and use them.
Everybody has different taste. What about going to a paint store and looking at paint chips/brochures to try to pick a colour or colours? They give you some ideas about what might go well together. You can take them home and hold them up next to your furniture in your room and try to get an idea how they would look.





Remember that colours usually seem brighter on the wall than they do on the paint chip.

If you can buy a new comforter Sears sells chocolate/pink and chocolate/aqua. You then put your headboard against the chocolate wall. You can also hang a canopy over your bed in white netting.
on one of my walls i painted pink with blue and green polka dots and on another wall the top of the wall is all purple and the bottom half is blue and white stripes, and I'm 14. So you could do random colors and designs on your walls! I think it looks really good and it makes your room not so dull!
i would love u to paint various shades of green. it soothes the eyes. it is also very rejuvenating and it brings everything back to life. that's why good songs, movies, are called evergreen ones.
well you've got two options really, either you go for girly style with pink and purple or you go for a more grown up style and pick yellow or red or something feminine but adult...depends what you want really!





i would recommend pink though!
dont paint ur room and waste ur effort/money. It doesnt matter if your room is boring lol, as long as YOU are NOT boring then everything should be fine.
Purple! Any shade of purple or lilac, that color has the ability to lift anyone's spirits!!!!
Pink!!! It makes your room more bright, and makes people laugh and it is a happy colour.
Something that goes with the color of your fashion, the clothes you wear etc.
Soft orange or peach for a more lively room. If you want relaxing, go with any earth tones.
Lime green and light blue, they definitely stand out.
Why would you need a special room to bore people? I would say beige, that's pretty boring.
