What color to paint my sculpture van?

I recently made a Volkswagen van (1960's modelish) out of clay. It's been fired and all and all I have to do is paint it! If I had a camera I would take a picture.


Basically looks like this, but more crooked and imperfect because it's made out of clay. I'm going to do two or more colors with acrylic paint.

Look up pictures of old VW vans from the 60's/70's and find one you really like. There were some trippy designs back then. I just saw a tv show with one in it that had green vines painted where the roof and sides meet, going toward the back of the van. The van itself was mostly white. It also had some crazy political design painted on the side...but that's a little much.What color to paint my sculpture van?
Red and black.
Try the volkswagen website vans of this era had a limited range of factory colours. Two toned are common of this era I had a red and white one mechanically stuffed was converted into a greenhouse for seedling raising.
