What color should I paint the walls of a room with mahogany floors?

for the floors to look their best and for the greatest impact in this room you want to create contrast. My top choices would be creamy beige, pale creamy yellow or pale icy blues %26amp; greens.

Benjamin Moore Colours;

White rock CC-160

Summer harvest CC-190

Florentine plaster CC-520

Glazed green CC-580

Blue grass CC-640

--any of these would look great! I would stay away from any reds, browns, or purples. What color should I paint the walls of a room with mahogany floors?
purple with pink and yellow polka dots! seriously, you need to give us more info.

what direction are the windows facing? north? south?

what is the room used for? bedroom? dining room?

what mood are you hoping to create?

what style of furniture?

color of upholstered furniture?

color of other woods in the room?

color of window coverings?

what colors do you hate? do you love?

too little info for us to give you assistance! What color should I paint the walls of a room with mahogany floors?
Depends on color of furniture, art work, etc and also how adventurous you are.

The safe answer is off white. For a warm feeling choose a color with a lttle yellow or orange in it.

To be adventourous, choose a bolder color.
do you have a pic of it? and what's the color of your furnishings!?!?!!??
try a light color like a tan or beige. something light to offset the dark floors...
Try:

dusty pink

peach or coral

banana

mint

aqua

sky blue

smoke blue

lavender

ivory, caramel, espresso

white, gray, silver

gold
You could really do anything. The mahogany wood acts as a neutral. I like ';Impressive Ivory'; by Sherwin Williams.
