What color should I paint my room?

I didn't want boring colors but orange is to much HELP!?!?What color should I paint my room?
It depends on what color your comforter/curtains are. I would take one of them, go to the paint store and match that chip. Then on the chip there are variations to that or go across the line of chips and you can see what looks good with your color comforter. It also depends on how many windows you have and how much light goes into the room. There are some really nice colors of green out there, bright, dark, light, whatever you find that you like a lot. There are some blue/greens, reds, yellows, bright blues that are bold, but not gaudy. What color should I paint my room?
Behr paints has a wonderful sample paint program called ';Color Smart'; on their website. You choose the color paint(s) that you would like to see in the sample. Then the program allows you to choose a room that you would like to see the paint sample in. This allows you to get a good idea of which paint color might look good in your room. For a small fee you can actually take a photo of your room and use it to sample the paint swatches. Try it out and have some fun with it. You might find a color that is just perfect for your room. Here is the link if you're interested.

Red is a sweet color... My room is red and tan with records hanging on the walls! XD and a 3 ft. tall picture I drew on my door (anime ^.^)
I painted mine a lavender/lilac colour and LOVED IT
';dutch tile blue'; by Sherwin Williams. And if you'd like to paint an accent wall behind your bed, do that in ';needlepoint navy.'; And paint the ceiling ';site white.'; Then get lots of pink accessories (bedding, artwork, curtains, etc.). It will be gorgeous and very relaxing.
