I want to paint my bedroom walls and I can't decide on colors, who wants to help?

Two colors that look good together.


No black or pink.


Black because my mom said no, pink because I hate pink.

My current ideas are:


red and dark blue


dark blue and yellow


or


light orange and dark blue.





Any ideas?

Maybe you and your mom could go to a fabric store and find some material with mixes of colors that appeal to you. Then purchase a piece of that fabric to go on. I have found that finding the colors I'm going to use for curtains and spreads in the room first, then finding paint to match is the easiest way. It's much easier to take fabric to the paint store than a wall of paint to the fabric store. ;-)I want to paint my bedroom walls and I can't decide on colors, who wants to help?
to figure out what colors you want you can kinda categorize it like say you want earthy colors you can do a greenish and light brownish.or if you want to do warm colors you can do a red and yellowish (but the would look horrible on walls) blue and green are also good colors that compliment each other!!!

Light brown and light green or blue usually looks pretty cool. For a cool effect, paint the base coat one of the colors (usually darker), let that dry. Then get a big sponge with a bunch of big holes in it like a sea sponge, and then dip that into the secondary paint. Apply to the walls gently all over. And wallah! Your room looks great!
just use colors that already match your decor. like the comforter on you bed, make sure it matches your carpet and drapes.
