I need some suggestions on what color I should paint my baby's room. I already have the bedding and curtains and they are pink gingham (light pink and white), and the furniture is walnut finish. The room is for just one child (girl). What color should I paint the nursery?
solid off white walls with a border that matches your bedding and maybe some other wall paintings with it ie big flowers if that matches. Or, Pink and white stripes. Solid pink (or any other color) might be overwhelming to you. What color should I paint the nursery?
Color therapists say yellow is cerebrally stimulating. Highlight important passages you read in yellow. Wear yellow. Use yellow decor in places where mental work is done.
I like a very light Lvender color
Well, if you go off white----you will have lots more options in the future.....
I think pink and white stripes would look very cute..and you could use the same pink as the bedding and curtains......that would look sooooo cute!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THE BABY!
For a girl i would love the colors pale pink and soft sea foam green on the walls. I could just imagine it! CUTE
i would do a lighter pink
what about a nice sage green or a purplely color. Maybe a deeper shade of pink with white stripes?? Hope this helps, if you need painting tip, let me know
I think a light - sage green would look nice - or light pink or you could also do light pink on two facing walls and white on the other two
for girl, i like soft pink and ivory and or lavender
a pale pink or a white
Keep it simple. Like an off-white with a pink border or pink picture frames with pretty pictures in them. Depending on the color of the carpet/florring you can go pink but you have to be careful or it will be too much pink. We are leaving the nursery white and buying letters to speel our babies name and painting them pink and putting up other things on the walls like homemade dried flower arragments and paintings or family pictures. We are also buying some pretty little throw rug to add some more color. The more simple it is the more calming it will be for baby, too much can actually cause the baby to become uncomfortable.
