What color should I paint my room?

I'm an 18 year old male, so no pink or purple crap! Thanks!What color should I paint my room?
I wouldn't do that because red tends to make your room look smaller. I would go with something lighter like a bluish or a darker green. maybe even a tan. but not red. it does really make your room ';shrink';

Blue is a favorite. I would go for a rich midnight blue and not baby or royal blue.
MAybe blue green
For a red/orange, I would check out Sherwin Williams ';daredevil'; if you like bright, or ';hearty orange'; if you like something more muted. A bedroom in my house is done with a dark red %26amp; I think it looks terrific - very southwestern.
