I have the same compplexion than you and everybody tells me that color light pink with a little white line makes my hands very delicated, elegant and fresh. Besides i really like how they look!, You have to try! Good look! ; )
Clean and simple is boring! Try OPI's ';I'm really not a waitress'; red, its my favorite color. Or try a light creamy shimmer color if you want to keep them understated.

I like the French or the American manicure it looks professional but natural. If you like try a natural color like a soft pink shade. I hate the bright nails unless it is a special occassion then you can paint them red.
most caramels can go with any colors, to me that the most best looking color out there if you take care of your body. I think you should go with what you thinks looks better (experiment) You will get to that color girl.
